Robbers Cave State Park - Oklahoma camping

Robber’s Cave Camping

Recently, some friends and I were feeling spontaneous and went on a camping trip to Robber’s Cave State Park.  The park is really one of Oklahoma’s hidden gyms and great for camping, hiking, climbing and rappelling. I went down on Friday, played some disc golf with a friend and then got the campsite ready before a few others arrived later that evening.  After everyone arrived, we cooked some brats, smores, and all the usual camp stuff.  Saturday we hiked a bit, then went to the actual “Robber’s Cave” – where outlaw fugitives like Jesse James hid during the 19th century.  It was a great trip, and I’m ready to go back again. Here are some pics from our trip.
